UP AND AWÄY KIT
Up and Away is specifically designed to help relieve symptoms of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis, such as odor, itching, irritation and vaginal discharge.

Up and Away is an all-natural supplement made with 100% pure Boric Acid.
Boric Acid used as a feminine suppository is an effective and safe treatment. Boric acid is a derived from alkaline salt deposits. It is 100% natural. Boric acid is an ideal solution for recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis.

What makes Up and Away Unique? How does it work?
Up and Away is the first 100% pure Boric Acid vaginal suppository’s kit available on the market today. Vaginal Candidiasis (also known as yeast infection) is caused when the healthy flora in the vagina become out of balance due to the environment becoming more alkaline. The vaginal pH should be slightly acidic with a pH between 3.5-4.5. When the pH becomes alkaline unhealthy bacteria or yeast grow and cause irritation, itchiness, discharge, and sometimes foul odour.

What are the causes?
The vagina can become alkaline due to sperm entering the area; sperm is alkaline. Blood from menstruating and water from bathing or douching are both more alkaline than the healthy vaginal pH and can lead to imbalance of the flora. Even diet or some types of material in undergarments can lead to irritation. Boric Acid is a natural supplement that helps to make the vaginal area pH more acidic, thus relieving vaginal discomfort.

How is Up and Away this used?
Up and Away is inserted one capsule in the vagina using the applicator or with your fingers, before bed each night until relief if reached. Do not use past 14 days straight. This product cannot be taken orally. Contact your health practitioner if ongoing issues persist.

What is boric acid?
Boric acid is a white powder derived from boron and water that possesses antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. Boric acid is recognized as a safe, alternative, economic option that is a more cost effective option than traditional treatments. It is meant to be used vaginally, never taken orally.

Vaginal health
The pH describes the acidity or alkaline level of a specific substance. It follows a scale of 1-14, and the lower the number the more acidic the substance or environment. The higher the number the more alkaline it is.

Vaginal pH levels play an important role in determining whether it is healthy or not.

A healthy vaginal pH ranges between 3.5 and 5. This means that the natural environment of the vagina tends towards an acidic nature in order to reduce the risk of pathogenic infections.

However, if the pH of the vagina is disrupted this can shift the pH towards more of an alkaline state, which can result in an unfavorable environment that is more susceptible to the overgrowths of harmful bacteria and yeast. A higher acidic state in the vagina favors unhealthy bacteria growth and increases the risk of infections such as vulvovaginal candidiasis and bacterial vaginosis.

A shift in the pH of the vagina can stem from infections, unprotected sex, antibiotic use, inflammation, douching, injury, allergic reactions, and exposure to chemicals and toxins.

Signs and symptoms of an unhealthy vaginal pH may include a foul odor, abnormal discharge, itching, or burning during urination.

Vulvovaginal Candidiasis
Vulvovaginal candidiasis, also known as a vaginal yeast infection, refers to an inflammatory state of the vagina, also called vaginitis.

This condition is not rare as it is estimated to be the second most common cause of vaginitis after bacterial vaginosis. Vulvovaginal candidiasis is said to affect up to 75% of women at least once in their lifetime.

This infection is caused by a type of fungus or yeast called Candida and affects millions of women every year.

Signs and symptoms may include:

  • Vaginal itching
  • Pain or discomfort during urination
  • Abnormal discharge that may look thick and clumpy
  • Pain during sexual intercourse
  • Redness
  • Swelling

Risk factors for these infections include pregnancy, estrogen dominance, use of hormonal contraceptives, high blood sugar or diabetes, immunosuppression, sexual activity, and antibiotic use.

If you are unsure if you have an imbalance you can use the PH Testing strips from Aeryon Wellness. These easy to use immediate, easy to use testing strips can help in determining an infection.

Though these infections are no cause for alarm they should be treated as early as possible to avoid any further complications.

What you can do
Boric acid can help to treat and relieve symptoms from both vulvovaginal candidiasis and bacterial vaginosis. It does this by shifting the pH of the vaginal area to its more natural acidic state, relieving vaginal discomfort
