July 2022 Movement

For July’s movement challenge, we are challenging you to step into movement with mindfulness. We challenge you to move your body every day for 30 minutes, only in a way that is rejuvenating to you! Choose a type of movement that you enjoy, and that is kind to your body. This could be walking, swimming, tennis, volleyball, etc.

Next, make a plan. Pull out your planner, pull out your note section in your phone, whatever you need to do to set yourself up for success. Write down the type of activity, where you’re going to do it, the time you’re going to do it, everything! Think of challenges or potential obstacles that might get in the way, and write down ways to overcome them so you’re prepared to commit to moving your body.

Movement does not have to be strenuous, stressful, or dreadful. In fact, it shouldn’t be. It should be with intention to honour the ability you have to move your body and find peace and mindfulness in that journey!
